Today I’m offering up a question for you – what can you do with the remaining days of the year? There are five day left. What can you do, create, accomplish, finish, begin? Will you make the most of these days to wrap up the year with a shiny red bow? Or will you waste them, thinking that the fresh start comes in six days, so why bother? Let’s explore…
Triwich
I’ve been asking this same question at our house recently, often tied to moments of boredom. Boredom is where creativity is born so being bored is AWESOME!
So, what happens when a 14-year-old get bored and is hungry?
A triwich. That’s what.
Apparently this is his answer to what he can do with the remaining days of the year. I mean, it is helpful in that he used up the end of a loaf of bread and the scraps of meat and cheese, hence the flimsy nature of his triwich. And then we made some art with it all. And, it was fun and funny! These are all good ways to spend the time. At least he didn’t make a spherewich?
What Can I Do With The Remaining Days of The Year?
I will probably not make triwiches, but I will continue my push to write and make art every day, nail my nutrition and workouts, be healthy, and spend time with family. I will also take some time to do an end of year evaluation that I will share with you so you can do it, too.
In the meantime, I’m encouraging more boredom in my kids so we can delight in things like triwiches.
If you’re wondering which end you eat first, the answer is Yes.
