In honor of National Kick Butt Day, I’m going to smack myself another high five and get to it! Every day is Kick Butt Day to me, but coming off a long, most excellent weekend and 9 hours of driving yesterday, I could use a little extra personal motivation and focus this morning. Here we go!

My Kick Butt Day
I’m coming off my weekend high on satisfaction and feeling whole, ready to move forward into my next steps. I accomplished that goal and am ready to elevate into the next. As I mentioned with The Great Drift, it isn’t yet defined, but the direction is clear, so I’m gathering myself to get down to business this morning with my workouts and stay on point with time all day. Most days my well-planned schedule gets shifted later than I want – today I’m going to nail it and therefore have more time to spend with my family.
My Goals
Goals work better when we write them down so here are my Kick Butt Day goals:
- Write and Publish this post
- Family time/breakfast
- Floor and mobility work
- Get to the gym and nail leg day #1
- Clean up/eat/family time
- Family time the rest of the day, from noon onward
- Zoo with Willa to see the penguins because they kick butt
- Something with Mason, whatever he chooses
- One on one time with David
