Did you take on the Triptych Challenge yesterday? If not, back up a day and go for it! We had fun with it at our house, finding trios and triangles everywhere and creating all sorts of triptychs.
Here are some of our results…
Mason gathered three Lego military guys that are about to go to BrickFair, VA this week. Similar, yet different.
Willa arranged markers and shot all three of these images with my phone. Different perspectives of the same subject.
David uses three different pens (one is a cool stylus) through his days so they are the subject of his triptych. Simple, yet meaningful.
Here are mine. I found a different wildflower in my backyard and, like Willa, shot it from different perspectives.
Triptychs Everywhere
Looking around my house, I have photos and art and shelves and so many things hung or placed in threes. Wow! I’ve always known triangles to be the strongest shape, but I didn’t notice how prevalent they are in my life until yesterday.
The Trio that Launched it All
Then there’s this, the trio that launched this entire blog.
I hope this triptych proves to create the strongest triangle of all! We are literally built on a triangle foundation. (The pelvis actually has multiple triangles in its overall design. Google “pelvis and triangles” and dig in!) Mine was misshapen my whole life, but is on its way to being perfect and strong.
Your turn!
I want to see the triptychs you found or created! Email or text yours to me. Triangles and threes are everywhere!
